Sally Jones started her advertising career at Ogilvy London in 1989 and went on to spend 10 years in account management before moving to New York in 1999 to join Kendall Tarrant. She worked in the account management, creative and planning departments, and helped open Kendall Tarrant San Francisco in 2000. In 2002 she founded Tangerine and since its launch, Tangerine has worked on searches in the US, UK, Australia and Asia.
Kimberly is recruiting in strategy, new media and creative technology. She is passionate about helping people make their next best career move by understanding their core skills, culture needs and what really makes them tick. kimberly worked as a brand manager in San Diego before moving to NYC in 2006 and joining Tangerine. She graduated with a BS in marketing from San Diego State University. Her college experience was shaped by 3 study abroad semesters in Mexico, Australia and Spain. Kimberly loves to travel, in 2010 she visited Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, and Ecuador. She also enjoys snowboarding, music and living in the East Village.
Doug is recruiting in a global capacity across digital and creative disciplines. He has a passion for marketing, technology and innovation and strives to build long term value-add relationships with talent and clients that lead these industries.
Doug grew up in Zululand, South Africa, worked in the UK and completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and International Business in Sydney, Australia. Following this he worked in Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Bali, Indonesia as a Marketing and Operations Director overseeing 16 luxury resorts. His appreciation for talent and passion to work with the most innovative brands led him to build a global executive search recruitment agency based in Australia, called The Ladder, as a Partner and Global Head of Digital. He loves obscure music, has a stupid accent, could always surf better and he loves his new team at Tangerine!
Alison spent 18 years in the agency business prior to joining Tangerine in January, 2010. She worked in account management across a variety of clients at JWT and APL then spent 10 years at Lowe in classical HR, talent management and operations including finance and real estate. Having helped agency c-level management answer the questions that perhaps most challenged the conventions of the industry over the past decade, Alison brings a unique perspective to search. Alison partners with clients in advertising, design, communications strategy as well as media owners to recruit creatively oriented strategic leadership talent. Alison is obsessed with her tennis game and her daughters (10+5) and serves as the development chair on the board of an independent elementary school in NYC. In her spare time, she makes homemade granola.
Prior to joining Tangerine in 2010, Torrey built her career in account management at shops including TBWA Chiat/Day, Secret Weapon in Los Angeles, Saatchi & Saatchi London and JWT New York. Torrey's extensive experience in the agency world--in shops both big and small--helps her bring a unique perspective to searches and allows her to better understand the needs of agencies in hiring talent. A native Californian, Torrey currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two young sons.
Liz is a 2009 graduate of UVa where she studied economics and classics. She enjoyed a summer internship with Tangerine in 2008 and worked in the public school system in Virginia Beach to be sure she was adequately prepared to take on the role of team manager. In her spare time, Liz keeps herself busy enjoying life in NYC and rereading the Odyssey in greek.
